Leave the edges alone
Please avoid picking, pressing, or trimming the film. If you notice an edge lifting or anything that concerns you, send us a photo. We’re happy to take a look.
Remove any contamination gently
If you spot bugs, bird droppings, sap, or tar on your vehicle, gently remove them as soon as you can. Soften the buildup first, then carefully lift it away. Avoid scrubbing or using solvent-based bug or tar removers.
Hand wash with soft materials
Once the seven-day waiting period is over, you can wash your vehicle using clean, non-abrasive wash and drying materials. If you’re using a pressure washer, keep the nozzle at least 36 inches away and take care to avoid spraying into the film’s edges.
Choose vehicle care products carefully
Take a moment to check the vehicle care products you have at home or before purchasing anything new. Avoid polishing compounds, clay bars, and waxes. If you’re unsure what to use, just ask us. We’re happy to recommend products that suit your film and any coating on top.
When to contact us
If you notice bubbles that aren’t going away, peeling, discoloration, or damage, please reach out to us. Self-healing film can help reduce light surface marks, but cuts and deeper scratches need a closer look. Please leave heat guns and film removal to us.

More than one service?
Read each guide. If your PPF was ceramic coated, follow the coating’s longer no-wash period.
